Reticular

Genetic data privacy

Your genetic data should stay in your control.

We protect your embryo and sequencing data, handle saliva samples carefully, and let you request deletion at any time.

Reticular sequencing kit materials

You can ask us to delete your data

Verified requests remove personal information, including Health Data, from active Reticular systems within 30 days, unless we are required to keep limited records.

Data movement is secure

When genetic files need to move, we use secure transfer methods and access-controlled storage.

Saliva samples are destroyed after 60 days

After sequencing data is released, we destroy any leftover saliva sample after 60 days unless you ask us to keep or return it where allowed.

Data covered

The sensitive pieces we protect.

Different Reticular services use different data. The practical rule is simple: if it can identify you, your embryos, your samples, or your genetic results, we treat it as sensitive.

Your Reticular account details and support messages

Embryo or PGT-A files you authorize your clinic or lab to share

Parent saliva samples when sequencing is part of your service

Raw sequencing outputs such as FASTQ, BAM/CRAM, and gVCF files when those are generated

Reticular report files, counselor review notes, and related analysis outputs

Sequencing safeguards

Privacy promises built into the workflow.

Our sequencing workflow is built around limited access, secure data movement, and clear sample handling. We use your genetic data to provide your Reticular service, not for unrelated purposes.

Your files stay under Reticular's care

We keep control of the sequencing files and report outputs created for your Reticular service.

Sensitive data gets extra safeguards

Genetic and personal information is protected with administrative, physical, and technical safeguards appropriate to its sensitivity.

Deletion includes related materials

When you ask us to delete your data, we remove active-system data and delete or destroy related materials where the law allows.

Deletion

How to delete your genetic data.

You can request deletion at any time. We verify the request, remove data from active systems, and handle remaining materials tied to your request where the law allows.

Some limited records may remain where required or permitted by law, such as billing records, security logs, compliance records, or information that has already been de-identified or aggregated so it no longer identifies you.

  1. 1

Email us from your account address

Use the subject line Genetic data deletion and tell us whether you want account deletion, specific file deletion, or a copy of your data first.

  2. 2

    We verify the request

Before we delete sensitive information, we confirm that the request is coming from the right person or an authorized agent.

  3. 3

    We remove active-system data

After verification, we delete personal information and Health Data from active systems within 30 days, except where we must retain limited records for legal, regulatory, security, billing, or legitimate business reasons.

  4. 4

    We handle remaining materials

If samples, uploaded files, or sequencing outputs are still tied to your request, we return, delete, or destroy those materials where the law allows.

Your rights

What you can ask for.

Privacy rights vary by location, but we try to make patient control straightforward. Email us from the address tied to your Reticular account and include the request type in the subject line.

  • Ask what genetic data Reticular has for you
  • Request a copy of your account, report, or genetic files
  • Correct account details connected to your report
  • Delete your Reticular account and associated genetic data
  • Limit the use of sensitive Health Data where applicable law gives you that right
